Web Filtering

PromoProxy provides not only basic domain/URL control using blacklists and whitelists, but also advanced category filtering.
This helps prevent access to unnecessary or inappropriate sites, reducing the risk of data leaks while maintaining workplace productivity.

Free Plan

In the Free Plan, web filtering is applied using PromoProxy’s default settings.
These settings cannot be customized.

1. Blacklist​

  • Blocks access to domains/URLs explicitly specified by the administrator.
  • Enables quick blocking of malicious or non-work-related sites.
  • Strengthens security by registering known malware distribution and phishing sites.

2. Whitelist​

  • Ensures that essential sites and services are always accessible.
  • Guarantees stable use of SaaS, cloud services, intranet portals, and other critical business tools.

3. Category Filter​

  • Controls access based on domains/URLs automatically classified into dozens of categories.
  • Allows bulk blocking of non-business or harmful categories such as “Adult,” “Gambling,” “Social Media,” and “Illegal Content.”

By combining these filtering features, PromoProxy delivers flexible yet powerful access control, supporting both risk reduction and productivity.
